A Neat Idea Direct From a Reader
Recently I received an e mail from a reader by the name of Jack Lee. It seems Jackâs building a â57 ½-ton, small window, short bed just as I am. He said that the articles Iâve run so far (regarding my project truck) have been interesting and that they seem to be running parallel to the mods heâs done or is going to be doing on his in the near future. That said, he wanted to pass along an idea heâd seen and performed regarding moving the gas tank from in the cab to the rear of the pickups frame. Jack said that most installs heâd seen in the past involved aftermarket tanks with the filler necks coming up through the bed floors. Jack took a different approach with his and thought it worthy to share.
