Talk about a family heirloom ... Allen Ensinger still recalls the day (August 7, 1967) his grandfather Jesse L. Watkins bought a new C10 Stepside pickup. While spending summer vacations with his grandparents he spent a lot of quality time with grandpa and his old truckâin fact, that olâ C10 was the first vehicle Allen ever got to drive, and it made a lasting impression. Fast forward to April 1995 when Allen was able to purchase it from his grandfather as a 30th birthday present for himself. With the support and help of his 16-year-old daughter Emily, the pair started a complete restoration in March 2010.
