Safety car takes out WTCC race leader in Pau
The Pau circuit is a brilliantly historic racing venue in the South-West of France. The only problem is that, as a street circuit, it all gets a bit tight when you’ve got 20-odd mental touring car drivers trying to attack each other.
This weekend’s WTCC event saw numerous cars hit the barriers on the first lap. So out was sent the Chevrolet Cruz safety car sort it all out. Shame he didn’t use his mirrors…
