This week's ride (BMW 730Ld) has night vision - How cool is that?!
Because I’m a bloke and because I was stuck in crappy South West London traffic this morning on the way to Sky Motoring towers I was prodding each and every one of the BMW 730Ld’s buttons.
I liked the one for the head-up display but I’ve seen that before. The one that switches on the side mounted cameras so you can look both ways when pulling out of your driveway was pretty cool too. But there was one button, next to my right knee, that kept me entertained for the rest of the journey. It switched on the (drum roll) night vision. How. Cool. Is. That?!
Haven’t tried it in the dark yet but even in daylight seeing hot exhausts show up bright white is fascinating, if distracting. But looking at pedestrians' glowing groins is just pervy...
